On a recent trip to Boston we rescued a Goffin's Cockatoo named Katie Marshmallow and her little buddy BeadyBird (cockatiel). We also rescued 4 other tiels that were not housed with Katie & Beady. |

Katie Marshmallow the first time I saw her!
Katie was a self mutilator and had opened up a hole on her neck! She was overstressed and nervous so her owner decided to give her up to a better home.
|
Katie in her carrier getting ready to leave for her new home in Georgia! Ron & Tammy Johnson of Feathered Friends Forever were awaiting the Delta arrival of their newest flock members Katie Marshmallow & BeadyBird! |

The rescue crew, me in the middle, Kelsi on the right and Meaghan on the left...ready to ship Katie & Beady out to Georgia! The missing person is BETH, Meaghan's mom & my good friend! She was taking the picture! Thanks Beth! We stopped for a quick pic in the parking lot, thinking this would be the last time we would see Little Katie & Beady! Little did we know Delta was not allowing pet shipments due to the coooold weather. |
Just WHO ?????? are these people & WHY do they look like that?????? |
